Balsamic Caramel Sauce

Luscious and Sweet, this rich sauce is very versatile. It makes a perfect Dessert Sauce for Cakes, Ice Cream or Fresh Fruit but depending on the flavor of Balsamic, you can transform it into a more Savory Sweet Sauce for Main Dishes.

Chocolate flavors work well in Dessert presentations but if you really want something elevated and different, try Bourbon or Espresso Balsamic to create a nice Steak Sauce!

If you would like a lighter colored sauce, use our Golden White Balsamic. You can alter the color of the sauce further by using either Light or Dark Brown Sugar.

Lastly, you can elevate the flavors a touch more by using an infused salt. See below for a few different suggestions.

One of our personal preferences for a rich Steak Dinner is to use Dark Brown Sugar, Espresso Dark Balsamic and approximately 3 Tbs of Brandy. You should also skip putting the sauce in the refrigerator and just let it cool down to Room Temperature to thicken. Warm the sauce slightly just before plating.
